A message from Alice Ambrose-Thurman (Director) and Chris Fitzpatrick (European Plant Manager) in response to the Japan earthquake which is affecting our colleagues, their friends and their families.

“Our hearts go out to you all in the wake of the recent earthquake of 7.6-temblor which has slammed the west coast region of Japan, so far killing 48 people and causing over 100,000 people to flee their homes.

Faltec Group, of which Faltec Europe Ltd is an overseas subsidiary, operate from 6 locations in Japan; Kanazawa, Gunma, Fukushima, Fukyoka and Aichi.

In the face of such adversity, we stand with you, offering heartfelt support and solidarity during this challenging time, believing that in unity, there is strength. May your courage and the spirit of resilience guide you.

Our thoughts are with you, and we send our deepest condolences and strongest support to those affected by this natural disaster.”

A New Year’s day message from Chris Fitzpatrick on this first day of 2024, and his 12 month anniversary of being appointed our European Plant Manager.

Today, as we stand on the threshold of a new year, I am filled with gratitude for the collective achievements and unwavering dedication every colleague, supplier and customer has brought to our company during 2023. Together, we have overcome challenges, embraced change, and achieved some remarkable milestones.

The coming year holds the promise of many new opportunities for our company, and also challenges, that will undoubtedly further shape our journey together. Let us approach these with the integrity, innovation, collaboration, respect and resilience that defines our whole team and are our core values.

As we embark on this new chapter, I want to express my sincere appreciation for all you are doing to support our business, whether as a valued colleague, supplier or customer. Thank you for being an integral part of our company’s story, and I wish you a Happy New Year filled with fulfilment, growth, and endless possibilities.

All is quiet today at Faltec today. Although our production manufacturing teams are resting, there are maintenance activities being carried out to ensure that our facility is in top-top condition for their return in a few days time.

Managing a large, complex business is a team effort, and we thank everyone who plays a part in keeping everything on track and working correctly so we have the best and safest environment for colleagues to work in.

“As we approach the end of 2023, I am pleased to see UK car production bouncing back after a challenging period due to Covid and supply chain disruptions. The automotive manufacturing sector overall has seen a significant increase in production volumes and investment, which has boosted confidence in the sector.

Faltec Europe Ltd is looking forward to a busy 2024, with our business continuing to make prudent investments in people, plant and processes, on our journey of continuous improvement.

I am extremely grateful to all our colleagues, suppliers, customers and stakeholders for your ongoing support and being part of our story. Thank you.
